Philadelphia, Pa. – The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia today launched an online newsroom, a series of web pages developed to meet the specific needs of media professionals. Its design is intended to make searches for economic and banking information more intuitive and efficient.
The newsroom provides easy access to the Bank’s economic surveys, media relations contacts, executive bios and photographs, regional and national economic resources, and links to economic and banking resources found outside of the Federal Reserve System. For example, the newsroom directs reporters to websites such as those of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
The link to the newsroom is featured prominently on the homepage of our website.
“It is our hope that the media will find the newsroom useful and that they will let us know how we can enhance its capabilities as their needs develop and change,” said Theresa Halpin, the Philadelphia Federal Reserve’s senior web administrator. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
