Philadelphia Fed Names Vice President of Cash Services

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia has announced the promotion of Cash Services Officer Michelle M. Scipione to vice president of Cash Services. Before moving to her current position, Scipione was on a special assignment to improve contingency preparedness for the Federal Reserve System's Cash Product Office.

She also has served as the national cash manager for the Cash/Fiscal Product Office. She started her career at the Bank in 1989 as an auditor and was transferred to the Cash Services Department in 1992 as an analyst. She received a promotion to manager of administration, automation, and special projects in 1995.

Scipione participated in the planning and promotion of redesigned currency, including the $20, $50, and the $10.

Scipione holds an MBA in management from LaSalle University and a bachelor's degree in finance from Temple University. She is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Society.
