PHILADELPHIA - The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia earlier this year promoted Mary Ann Hood to Vice President of Human Resources, and Patrick M. Regan to Vice President of Information Services.
Mary Ann Hood was assistant vice president in Check Adjustments. She has been with the Federal Reserve System since 1982, joining the Philadelphia Fed in 1990. Before that, she worked in the New Orleans branch of the Atlanta Fed and the Memphis Branch of the St. Louis Fed. She is a graduate of Hood College in Frederick, Maryland.
Patrick M. Regan joined the Philadelphia Fed in 1977 and has managed the Technical Services and Systems Development functions. He also serves as chairman of the Federal Reserve System's Information Security Officers' Group. Regan is a graduate of Drexel University, where he received a bachelor's degree and an MBA in management information systems.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia serves depository institutions in eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware by supplying cash to these banks and thrifts, supervising them, collecting and processing about 5 million checks daily, wiring money and securities nationwide, as well as participating in the broader objective of setting monetary policy.
