About Anna Tranfaglia

Anna Tranfaglia joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia in June 2017. Her research interests include applied spatial econometrics; financial inclusion, focusing on access to formal financial institutions; housing finance; and economics of gender.

Before working at the Bank, Tranfaglia was a senior research assistant at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.

Tranfaglia is pursuing a Ph.D. in economics at Temple University. She has an M.A. in economics from American University and a B.S. in economics from the University of Pittsburgh.
