September 16 – 17, 2020
The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, the Consumer Finance Institute (CFI), and the Supervisory Research and Policy Forum (SURF) are hosting the latest in a series of workshops examining emerging issues in the credit card market. The Workshop on Credit Card Lending and Payments will be a virtual event during September 16–17.
The workshop, which includes presentations, case studies, and panel discussions, aims to provide regulators, industry experts, and academic contributors with an opportunity to share research, views, and opinions on emerging risks, challenges, and the industry landscape more broadly.
This year’s workshop will focus on three important topics that are likely to shape the industry over the next few years: the impact of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, financial innovation and payments, and the implications of adopting machine learning and artificial intelligence (ML/AI).
