The Annual Report of Holding Companies (FR Y-6) must be filed annually by all Third District top-tier domestic bank holding companies and savings and loan holding companies. The report consists of a holding company's organizational chart; a list of domestic branches; a list of securities holders, including percentage owned; and a list of insiders related to the organization. Holding companies not registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission must also include an annual report with the FR Y-6 if one is prepared for the shareholders.
View this new interactive training video about completing the FR Y-6.
Respondents of the FR Y-6 must submit one original and one copy of the completed FR Y-6 report to the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia no later than 90 calendar days after the top-tier holding company’s fiscal year end.
