Brian M. McNeill, deputy chairman of the Bank’s board of directors and a Class C director, joined Southco as president and CEO in 2000. During his tenure, McNeill has led the global expansion of Southco, a designer and manufacturer of engineered access hardware. In the past several years, he has led the expansion and creation of TouchPoint, Inc., a parent holding company, where he is president and CEO. TouchPoint, a privately held, diversified growth company based in Concordville, PA, includes the access hardware platform anchored by Southco, a Medical Technology Platform led by ITD, and an Intelligent Vending Platform consisting of Supply Point Systems. TouchPoint companies conduct business in more than 80 countries in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
Before joining Southco, McNeill was executive vice president of Danaher Corporation. Before that, he spent 17 years at Ingersoll-Rand Company as an officer of the company and in several executive positions. Since 2001, he has served on the board of advisors of Berwind Corporation and as cochair of its board for the past three years; he is currently chairman of its Finance Committee. Berwind, a private investment management firm based in Philadelphia, consists of a diversified portfolio of industrial, pharmaceutical, and consumer goods companies.
McNeill has an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Rutgers University.
