Summary:

We are pleased to announce the following election results:

Walter E. Daller, Jr., Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer, Harleysville National Corporation, Harleysville, Pennsylvania, has been elected a Class A director by member banks in Electoral Group 1.
P. Coleman Townsend, Jr., Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Townsends, Inc., Wilmington, Delaware, has been elected a Class B director by member banks in Electoral Group 2.

Mr. Daller's and Mr. Townsend's three-year terms will begin January 1, 2002.

We are pleased to announce the following appointments that were made by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and are effective January 1, 2002:

Charisse R. Lillie, Partner, Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has been re-appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Glenn A. Schaeffer, President, Pennsylvania Building & Construction Trades Council, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, has been re-appointed Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Rufus A. Fulton, Jr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Fulton Financial Corporation, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, has been appointed by the Board of Directors of this Reserve Bank to represent the Third District on the Federal Advisory Council during 2001.
