What Is a Podcast?

A podcast is an audio (or video) file distributed over the Internet. You can subscribe to a podcast through an RSS feed or listen to a podcast on a mobile audio device or directly on your personal computer. The Philadelphia Fed currently produces podcasts for Community Development, Education, and Research and Data.

At this time, our podcasts can be played right from your computer. In the future, we will make the podcasts available for download to your mobile device. Podcasts on our website are indicated with an icon .
