Philadelphia, Pa. - The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia today announced the appointment of Kori Ann Connelly to assistant vice president and counsel. She will provide legal support primarily to the Human Resources, Financial Management Services, and Law Enforcement departments. She will also administer the Bank's insurance program.

Connelly joins the Bank after serving as a partner with Swartz Campbell LLC, a Philadelphia law firm, where she had worked for more than 10 years focusing on employment and labor law, as well as insurance coverage issues. Prior to that, Connelly worked as a legal assistant for CIGNA Corp., and, before that, she worked as a summer associate for the law firm of Marks, O'Neill, Reilly, O'Brien, & Courtney.
She graduated from Temple University School of Law, and she has a bachelor's degree from La Salle University. Connelly is admitted to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars and is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management. In 2006, she was featured in the local edition of Super Lawyers magazine for her volunteer efforts with Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia and has been recognized repeatedly as a "Rising Star" by the magazine.
