PHILADELPHIA - The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia has announced the promotion of Michael Doyle to assistant vice president in the Bank’s Information Technology Services Department.
A Federal Reserve employee for 17 years, Doyle was technical services officer. In his new position, he will be responsible for the office automation support and local help desk functions. He will continue to lead the Bank’s communications and technical support, computer operations, change management, and telephone administration functions. Doyle has a bachelor’s degree in English from Villanova University and an MBA in management information systems from Drexel University.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia serves depository institutions in eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware. The Bank supplies cash to the banks and thrifts, supervises them, collects and processes about 5 million checks daily, wires money and securities nationwide, and participates in the broader objective of setting monetary policy.
