Planners: Members of the American Institute of Certified Planners can obtain certification maintenance credits at the conference for all plenary sessions and concurrent workshops on both May 12, 2010, and May 13, 2010. The American Planning Association has approved the sessions and workshops for credits. A planner who attends each plenary session and one workshop in each set of concurrent workshops on May 12 and May 13 can obtain a total of 11.25 credits. Planners can view the conference agenda to see the number of credits per session.
The fourth Reinventing Older Communities conference will focus on reinventing older communities in the wake of the foreclosure crisis and the federal government’s economic stimulus programs. The conference brings together some of the nation’s leading policymakers, community developers, bankers, researchers, funders, planners, and government representatives.
