The Financial Education Network (FEN) convenes regular meetings for representatives of nonprofit organizations, banks, and governments in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware who provide financial education to low- and moderate-income residents.

Description

This meeting will provide an overview of reverse mortgages, including the FHA-insured home equity conversion mortgage (HECM), and will offer the perspectives of two financial institutions and two housing counselors. It will also provide insight into the recession’s impact on HECMs and the future of the HECM program.
